How to: Move up to previous directory (folder) in a window.
Solution:
Display the window's toolbar. Click the toolbar button that contains an up-arrow on a folder. Or, press BACKSPACE if the 'Browse folders by using a single window that changes as each folder is opened' check box is selected.
1) Using the mouse:
a) If the toolbar is not present, select the 'View' menu and select 'Toolbar'.
b) Click the toolbar button depicting a yellow folder that contains an up-arrow.

NOTE: In order for the toolbar to be inherited by each open window, the browse options must be set to 'Browse folders by using a single window that changes as each folder is opened'.
2) Using the keyboard:
a) If browse options are set to 'Browse folders by using a single window that changes as each folder is opened', press BACKSPACE.
b) If browse options are set to 'Open a new window when each folder is opened', press ALT+TAB until the desired folder is reached.
